About the Journal

Tropical Genetics (Trop. Genet.) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal covering broad aspects of tropical genetics studies, including basic and classical genetics, theoretical and applied genetics, molecular and cytogenetics, bioinformatics, genetic diversity, population genetics, genetic engineering, forensic and behavioral genetics, advanced genetics and evolution, clinical genetics and genetic counseling, as well as genomics and genetic education. The journal is published biannual in May and November start from the year 2021 by Genetikawan Muda Indonesia (GeMI). We accept submission from all over the world. All accepted articles are published after the payment of an article processing charge (APC) and are freely accessible to all readers. Since 2022, Tropical Genetics has been indexed in SINTA, demonstrating its commitment to continuously improving publication quality.
